About Me

 I am the Director of Human Resources at a private Midwestern university. As a 25+ year Human Resources executive I also have experience in a wide variety of industries including media, retail, manufacturing, financial services and consulting.

My key experience is in all areas of HR including management and leadership development, compensation, systems, employee relations and more. I am also a skilled executive and management coach – successful in resolving complex employee relations problems, developing management and leadership skills and assisting with career development.

My education and training is in engineering and administration, so I tend to have a more “process” orientation than some other HR folks.  I also tend to be a little bold, and one of my favorite personal adjectives is irreverent.
